The BMR-L series programmable resistance modules use RF magnetic latching relays as the switch for the resistance network. The relay coils do not heat up during operation, which makes this solution capable of generating resistance outputs of the closest performance to that of fixed-value resistors.
The standard version of BMR-L series has a 4-wire output ( to avoid the influence of terminals), step resolution can reach 10mΩ, conservative initial accuracy up to ±(0.015%R.D+20mΩ), typical temperature drift is 10ppm. In addition, it is equipped with a inexpensive networking communication interface (e.g., RS-485) and does not require additional paid software, so users can fully consider using this series as an alternative to the “PXI Programmable Resistor Card”.
BMR-L series supports 6~24V wide voltage power supply and optional rich communication interfaces (isolated RS-485, RS-232 and CAN), of which RS-485 supports maximum 256 nodes for networking.
